Shark coprolites can be identified by their spiral patterning caused by thier spiral shaped intestinal tracts.

Lamnoid & Scliorhynoid Types
The centrum part of a shark vertebrae is the only part preserved. There are two types.. scliorhynoid & lamnoid. They are round with conical depressions on both sides & have concentric circular markings which are growth rings.

Pathological
These uncommonly found teeth will be noticably deformed from disease, genetic mutation or damage while immature. Paleontologists study these teeth to relate them to rare shark diseases.
